This is a breed for all seasons and reasons ! The Whippet is a natural athlete "giving the appearance of elegance and fitness denoting great speed, power and balance". The Whippet Is a "natural" dog. no need to dock tails, no ear surgery, no long hours brushing, clipping and seissoring.this fellow was born ready to show, race, course, go to the obedience ring. you name it. The Whippet also proves "wash and wear". he is naturally clean because of his smooth, short coat. His needs are simple.he wants to be warm and comfortable and enjoy human companionship. His temperament is ideal.steady, calm, intelligent and most affectionate. He´s sporty, he´s clownish, he´s faithful and he´ll endear himself quickly and forever!

The Whippet is a hardy and tough animal and his graceful, smaller size makes him ideal for our homes., apartments and condos today, his appetite is moderate, so no big expense in
this department! The Whippet enjoys a certain amount of exercise but an extensive program isn´t necessary unless racing and coursing catch your fancy.
The Whippet loves walks with his owner, and a brisk 15 minute walk a few times per week, or country strolls anytime, are sufficient. A fenced yard is handy for free play and exercise, but, please, don`t keep your Whippet outside.he´s loving house dog, always wanting to share your family scene.
The Whippet also makes a good kennel dog. With your care and affection, the Whippet will return to you years of gentle championship, he loves you as you are.
